Things Fall Apart

Solo Show, at New Glasgow Society - West, Glasgow, October 2023. Documentation by Jamie Dunn.

Things Fall Apart is an exhibition in painting inspired by the W.B. Yeats poem, The Second Coming.

This exhibition asks the viewer, "How does our centre hold through the suffering and destruction in the world, and the uncertainty of our daily lives?" The essence of the work is about the space between the self and the object/painting, the self and the other, and the self and the outside world.
