The Machine Stops
Solo Show, at Rogart Street Campus, November 2018. Documentation by Jamie Dunn.
The Machine Stops, is a mixed media exhibition inspired by the 1909 novella of the same name by E M Forster.
The installation creates a tension between the spontaneous, gestural mark-making of large-scale works on canvas and paper, and a more methodical structured approach in the printmaking and linear metal objects, in keeping with the tensions in the story itself.
"I want to see you not through the Machine” said Kuno.
“I want to speak to you not through the wearisome machine.”
